Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme · In force from 16 June 2026
Applies the Victoria Planning Provisions to land in the Shire of Yarra Ranges, through zones, overlays and particular provisions that determine which uses and works need a permit and the matters weighed in deciding one. Its municipal planning strategy treats the natural environment as the defining characteristic of the shire, and supports strong local communities and a local economy consistent with those environmental values.
