National Release Review
A National Release Review reads a scheduled national statistical release, from the ABS, the Reserve Bank, APRA or another official publisher, for what it shows about property and economic conditions. Each review places the new figures against Australian Property Network’s (APN’s) certified node readings, so the reader can see whether the release confirms, extends or cuts across the pattern those readings already describe.
Reviews follow the official release calendar. A review is written about what the release shows, not about which APN readings it refreshes.
- Names the release and the reference period it covers, and cites the publisher’s own tables.
- Declares its data anchors: the certified readings it is read against, with their reference quarters.
- Separates revision from movement. Where a release revises earlier periods, the review says so before interpreting the latest one.
- Names the next data point that will test its reading.
All National Release Reviews are listed in the National Release Review archive.
Governed by the APN 22000 Series Editorial Standard and the constraints of National Insight (22100). APN makes no forecasts: a review states what the data shows and what it is consistent with, never what prices or rates will do.
