22104 – National Structural Diagnosis

A National Structural Diagnosis is a deep reading of one mechanism in the national economy or housing market: why a pattern has formed, what sustains it, and what the balance of evidence is consistent with. Where a release review reads a single release, a structural diagnosis draws several series together to explain a pattern that no single release shows.

• Declares its data anchors before its first analytical claim.
• Sets out the competing explanations the data can and cannot separate.
• Closes with a two-paragraph synthesis: the diagnosis, then the cautions and the named data point that will test it.
• Makes no forecast. A diagnosis describes structural conditions; it expresses no view on future prices or policy.
