APN Professional Sentiment Index™
The APN Professional Sentiment Index™ is scoped as a read on how real estate practitioners — agents, valuers, developers — feel about market conditions, distinct from consumer sentiment measures. It depends on a companion data feed, the APN Symbiotic Intelligence Network™ (24310), intended to track practitioner-level signals directly.
No Tier A source exists at all for practitioner sentiment — there is no statutory or national survey of real estate practitioner sentiment in Australia. The nearest real candidates are the Property Council of Australia’s quarterly sentiment survey and REIA/state Real Estate Institute member surveys (both Tier B, established industry bodies), with NAB’s Residential Property Survey (Tier C, a commercial series already widely cited in industry reporting) usable as an interim proxy.
24310 (APN Symbiotic Intelligence Network™) is planned as a first-party data feed, not an existing-dataset acquisition. It is intended to draw on a mix of practitioner and agent-network surveys and related first-party instruments — the exact survey design, cadence, and panel structure are still to be announced. Until that instrument is stood up and running, neither 24310 nor this parent index has a live reading.
