Housing research centre at the University of Adelaide bringing together researchers, policymakers, industry and advocates. Core themes: healthy housing, housing affordability, Indigenous housing, housing tenure/conditions, spatial analysis. Also hosts an AHURI Adelaide research partnership.

Developed ARIA+ (Accessibility/Remoteness Index of Australia), used in the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ own Remoteness Areas classification, Australia’s official standard for classifying location accessibility/remoteness. Conducted the NIAA Indigenous Housing Data Review, providing recommendations to improve Indigenous-housing data collection, access and linkage. Produces the Australian Housing Conditions Dataset, described as the largest national survey of Australian home quality/conditions.
