APN Codex Node 2000020000 Series — Market Analysis & Data
Market Analysis & Data
1What This Series Covers
The 20000 series is the umbrella for everything APN does with market data — from raw objective inputs through to APN’s own finished analytical products. It splits into four distinct layers, each with its own editorial rules and its own relationship to the others: objective data (21000), APN’s own forward-looking commentary (22000), external attributed opinion (23000), and APN’s proprietary composite indices (24000). Insight and the Indices both anchor their claims to certified 21000-series readings; Opinion is kept structurally separate from APN’s own voice even when APN references it.
2The Four Branches
21000 →
Market Analysis (Objective)
External Tier-1 data (ABS/RBA/APRA/state releases). 64 of 80 nodes active, 53 certified.
22000 →
Insight (Forward-Looking Commentary)
APN’s own analytical voice, anchored to 21000/24000 data. Actively publishing across most categories.
23000 →
Opinion (Attributed Viewpoints)
External practitioner voice, proactively sourced. Early-stage, real content across five categories.
24000 →
APN Proprietary Indices
6 branch composites certified and live, plus the top-level APN Sovereign Policy Composite Index™ (24800); 1 of 8 branches not yet built.
3Status Summary
- All four branches carry real, live content.
- Objective data (21000) is the most structurally complete branch, with the clearest active/inactive split — two entire sub-series (Property Prices & Market Reports, Investment Strategy Analysis) were deprioritised early and remain mostly or fully inactive.
- Insight (22000) is the most actively published commentary layer; Opinion (23000) is real but considerably thinner, with three of its eight categories still unpublished.
- The Proprietary Indices (24000) branch has six of its eight branch composites certified, and the APN Sovereign Policy Composite Index™ (24800) composes five of them; 24300 is not yet built. See that branch’s own page for the full build status.
