Rent Against Earnings in the June Quarter 2026: Five States Compared
A new lease took 33.39% of a week’s full-time adult ordinary-time earnings in the June quarter 2026, up from 32.74% a year earlier. Rents rose faster than earnings in all five states, most of all in Tasmania.
