Cross-State Comparison Release Review
1What This Node Covers
Reviews of a scheduled official release that reports every state and territory. Each review sets the jurisdictions against one another and against the national figure, on one measure and one basis, and reads the result against Australian Property Network’s (APN’s) certified national readings. Reviews follow the official release calendar.
2What Every Release Review Does
- Names the release, its reference period and the tables it draws on, and states the national comparator.
- Measures every jurisdiction on the same basis. A ranking appears only where every state and territory is measured alike, and a difference in definition is disclosed.
- Reports the data and nothing about motive. A review does not attribute intent or a vantage point to any government, agency or speaker.
- Declares NIL RETURN where a state series is not published, or where no certified state reading exists.
